Ingredients

  • 2 cups warm cooked Japanese, short grain, or Dinorado rice
  • 1 cup Lady's Choice Japanese-Style Mayonnaise
  • 1 cup chopped or shredded crabstick
  • crispy seaweed sheets
  • 2 cups warm cooked Japanese, short grain, or Dinorado rice
  • 1 cup Lady's Choice Japanese-Style Mayonnaise
  • 1 cup chopped or shredded crabstick
  • crispy seaweed sheets

Steps

  1. Prepare and Press the Rice Prepare a medium rectangular oven-proof dish. Press the warm cooked rice evenly into the dish, gently flattening it with the back of a spoon to create a compact base. Set aside. Tip: Lightly wet your spoon or hands with water to prevent the rice from sticking and to achieve a smooth, even layer.

  2. Make the Crabstick Topping In a bowl, combine Lady's Choice Japanese-Style Mayonnaise and chopped crabsticks. Stir until evenly coated.

  3. Layer the Mixture Spread the crab mixture evenly over the pressed rice, making sure it fully covers the surface from edge to edge. Sprinkle crumbled crispy seaweed on top.

  4. Bake and Finish Preheat oven to 180°C. Bake sushi for 10–15 minutes or until the top is heated through and lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving with extra seaweed sheets for wrapping.
